Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you visit www.propdrop.io, enter a drop, or contact us, and how we use, share, and protect that information.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email address, mailing address (free-entry method only), date of birth, social handle, and the drop you are entering.
  • Payment information: when you purchase an entry, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. We do receive limited information such as the last four digits of your card, brand, country, and confirmation of a successful charge.
  • Automatically collected information: IP address, device type, browser, referrer, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected via standard server logs and cookies.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we use a small number of first-party cookies for site functionality (cart state, agreement acceptance) and aggregate analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly.

2. How we use information

  • To process entry purchases and free-entry submissions.
  • To run drawings, select winners, and contact winners about claiming their Prize.
  • To send transactional communications (purchase receipts, entry confirmations, winner notifications).
  • To send marketing emails about future drops, but only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Who we share information with

  • Payment processor (Stripe): to process charges. Stripe handles your full payment details under their own privacy policy.
  • Email and infrastructure providers: to send transactional emails, host the site, and store data securely.
  • The prop firm: if you win, we will share the minimum information necessary (e.g., name, email) with the prop firm so they can onboard you.
  • Legal & safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We keep entry records, purchase records, and winner records for as long as needed to run drawings, support winners, meet tax and accounting obligations, and respond to disputes — generally up to seven (7) years. Marketing-only contact data is retained until you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion (subject to our need to keep transactional and tax records).
  • Opt out of marketing email at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise these rights, email privacy@propdrop.io from the address associated with your entry.

6. Children

Prop Drop is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law if a breach occurs.

8. International transfers

Our servers and some service providers are located in the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, you understand and agree that your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current version. Material changes will be highlighted with a new "Last updated" date.
